We woke up this morning to a winter wonderland!
So we headed to the slopes!
There is an elementary school behind our house with some fantastic hills!...and a cardboard recycling bin!!!
We are very happy that our tax dollars provide us with sledding property and cardboard sleds!
After sledding we spent some time in the front yard making snow balls. Once Henry heard the word "BALL" he fell head over heals for snow!
Henry refused to come inside for his love of the snow had grown so passionate.
Maggie had worked up quite an appetite and decided to dine out in the snow!
Henry explored the entire neighborhood to make sure that indeed ALL the snow could be transformed into these magical snow BALLS!!
And of course what kind of snow day would it be without hot cocoa by the fire!

Oh, man I wish I could have been there with you to play in the snow. All we had were pretty icy trees and branches b/c all we had was rain. It was very beautiful though driving to church yesterday!
