The Green Adventure

When you are a stay at home mom coming up with random things to do sometimes can be a challenge. There are other moms out there just like me and if you are in Charlotte here is a fun idea for you and your fam. This is actually not my idea, but my friend Melissa's. These pictures are also from her camera. Anywas the adventure goes like this, park at Uptown Church and walk over to the "trolley" stop (really it is a bus that looks like a trolley called the gold rush). Board the free transportation option and take it to the middle of Uptown and de-board at Trade and Tryon and then walk over to the Green. The Green is a cool little place in the middle of Uptown and during the winter months there is ice skating, our own little Rockefellar. But, in the summer months the fountains are a nice hot spot, pun intended. Don't forget your picnic and enjoy the cool water and green lawn for a lovely day.
