While we were in Columbia we got a chance to say goodbye to our favorite nephew Brody. He headed back to Virginia Beach this week with his folks after a SC summer adventure.
We made it to Beaufort friday evening and spent all day saturday and sunday morning hanging out with our pals. Maggie really enjoyed playing with her friends. We went to church with the Kellys and Maggie seemed to think that all churches must serve bagels after sunday school because that was her first question after I picked her up from the nursery. I said did you have a fun time in sunday school and she said "bagels?" Needless to say we missed our good ole Uptown bagel breakfast.
The hot sun didn't stop this crew from checking out the local playground, but we quickly headed to the pool before the sun completely zapped us of all energy.
We headed back to Charlotte on sunday, but not after we stopped by again at my folk's house in Chapin. This time Maggie was presented with her SC cheerleading outfit for the upcoming season and a spatula full of pudding.Overall we had a really fun weekend thanks for having us Patrick and Lauren and thanks for the cool outfit Grandma and Poppa!
